Nice and soft. These feel like a good hotel pillow. Just got them for my husband as he likes a "down alternative" pillow whereas I like something a bit firmer. He said he really loves them. I purchased this on a whim. I’m glad I did! It is the right weight and provides the warmth I crave at night. Most importantly it is quiet. My old down made a crinkly sound when moving which disturbed my sleep. This one thank God, does nothing of the sort.
