The team adopted the name Essex after receiving a sponsorship from the local Ragan Gay Motor Company, which provided uniforms and named the team after the Essex automobile. They played their home games at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds before folding after the 1923 season. Retro

Runs much larger than I expected. I am 5’4”& 136 pounds. Usually wear a medium or large in some knit tops. So I need to stitch the side seams in hopes it will fit better. I like the weight and softness of the fabric, but really disappointed in the too large armholes. Unwearable for me until I
